Each training session starts with a warm-up led by a student selected by Sensei Ticky Donovan. Tony Spinks, Chris Vant, Errol Samuel, and Vas Eroglu were all honoured to be selected.
Amid the hard work and achievement there was also opportunity for fun and relaxation including Wednesday's fancy dress event and the end of course disco on Friday.
The traditional 'punishment' for transgressions is the end-of-session bucket of water - as in all other summer course activities Woodlane students were well represented here.
As usual sensei Lee Smith did us proud in his role as a senior instructor on the course.
Thanks to pearl we have over 2,000 images from the week. See our Photo Gallery for a selection. The full set of photos are available to club members on CD..
Be assured - Woodlane will be back next year. Don't delay - book your place now. Let's make 2009 another great summer course for Woodlane.
