Five Woodlane students entered the Essex Open Karate Championships in Clacton hosted by the Toyakwai Karate association on Sunday 29 April.
| Rosie entered both Kumite and Kata for girls and achieved a second place in the '4 foot and under' kumite category. |

| Tayla Holland entered both Kumite and Kata and achieved a third place in senior Kata (3rd to 1st Kyu). |
