A group of Woodlane students accompanied sensei Lee Smith to Newcastle during November to take part in a weekend training course. Instructors on the course were Eddie Gillespie (4th Dan), John Mottram (4th Dan) and our own Lee Smith (4th Dan).
Two intensive training sessions on the Saturday were followed by a further two sessions on the Sunday. All agreed it was a very worthwhile weekend and we all look forward to further joint events with these three leading karateka.
